How to Access
Step 1: Heat edges of back glass (80-90°C, 2-3 minutes). Use suction cup and pry tool to separate back panel.
Step 2: Disconnect battery — remove shield screws, pry up battery flex connector with plastic spudger.
Step 3: Remove motherboard shield screws and lift the metal shield.
Step 4: Locate the test point — two small gold pads near the Qualcomm SoC, adjacent to the UFS storage chip, upper-left quadrant of motherboard.
Step 5: Short the two pads with tweezers. While holding the short, plug in USB cable. Hold for 5-10 seconds.
Step 6: Check Device Manager on PC — look for Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COMx). If visible, EDL mode is active. Release the short.

Important: Use the correct firehose programmer for your exact model. Wrong programmer can permanently damage UFS storage.
After Recovery
Reconnect battery, replace shields, reattach back glass with new adhesive. Verify touchscreen, cameras, fingerprint, Wi-Fi, cellular. Dial *#06# to check IMEI. Test Download Mode works normally.
