Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra FRP Bypass Using Odin & Combination File

When app-based FRP methods stop working after a Samsung security patch, the Odin + combination file method is a more reliable PC-based approach. It uses Samsung's own factory firmware to bypass the Google account verification. This guide walks through the complete process for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is for legitimate owners only.

How the Odin Method Works

A combination file is Samsung's factory testing firmware. It has no Google services and no FRP. By flashing it via Odin, you boot into an environment with no account verification. From there you either remove the account or flash stock firmware with HOME_CSC to avoid re-triggering FRP. Because this uses official Samsung firmware rather than exploits, it is not patched away like app-based tricks.

Only bypass FRP on a device you legitimately own. Never use these methods on lost or stolen devices.

What You Need

• Windows PC
• Odin flashing tool (latest version)
• Samsung USB drivers installed
• Combination file matching your model (SM-S938B) and bootloader version
• Stock firmware for your model (for the final step)
• A good USB-C cable, device charged above 50%

Step 1: Download the Combination File

Find a combination file for your exact model number and matching bootloader version. The bootloader version (U1, U2, etc.) must match or be lower than your current one. See our combination file guide for where to download and how to read version strings.

Step 2: Boot into Download Mode

1. Power off the phone.
2. Hold Volume Up + Volume Down and connect the USB-C cable.
3. Press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

Step 3: Flash the Combination File

1. Extract the combination ZIP to get the .tar.md5 file.
2. Open Odin as Administrator.
3. Connect the phone — Odin shows Added!
4. Load the combination file in the AP slot. Leave BL, CP, CSC empty.
5. Check Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
6. Click Start. Wait for PASS.

The phone reboots into the combination firmware — a basic engineering interface with no Google setup and no FRP.

Step 4: Enable ADB and Remove the Account

1. In the combination firmware, go to Settings → Developer Options and enable USB Debugging (combination firmware often has Developer Options unlocked).
2. Connect to a PC with ADB installed.
3. Run ADB commands to disable the FRP-related package, or navigate to Settings and confirm no Google account is present.

Step 5: Flash Stock Firmware with HOME_CSC

Now return the device to normal stock firmware without re-triggering FRP:

1. Download stock firmware for your model.
2. Boot into Download Mode again.
3. In Odin, load: BL → BL file, AP → AP file, CP → CP file, CSC → HOME_CSC file (NOT the regular CSC — HOME_CSC avoids the factory reset that triggers FRP).
4. Click Start, wait for PASS.

Step 6: Complete Setup

The phone boots into stock firmware. Because you used HOME_CSC and the account was removed, you can now complete the setup wizard and add your own Google account without an FRP block.

Why Use This Instead of App Methods?

• More reliable: uses official firmware, not exploits that get patched
• Works on latest patches: effective even when *#0*# and TalkBack tricks are dead
• Clean result: device ends on genuine stock firmware

Troubleshooting

Odin FAIL flashing combination: Bootloader version mismatch. Get a combination file matching your current bootloader.

FRP still appears after stock flash: You used CSC instead of HOME_CSC (CSC triggers a factory reset and re-arms FRP). Reflash with HOME_CSC.
